They take on a life of their own, don't they?  Occasionally it's good to do a scan of your cupboards to ensure there are no items that may have been left behind.  Such is the case of this potato from Prince Edward Island.  I think if Jack was around he'd be tempted to climb that thing, even though it's not a bean sprout.

Nope, that potato is not your usual fair. That potato sprout has determination that it's going to survive, despite all odds.   It reminds me of the scripture in Philippians 4:13,  "I can do all things through Him who strengthens me."  When we have Father on our side, we know who to draw our strength from...and then we flourish. All because of Him!  He's our guiding light and the one we thrive and grow in.

Father uses many things to show us how He takes care of us. I'm thankful today for the potato lesson! :-)
